Grant Regional Adult Education will be hosting their annual graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 at the Ivy Tech Conference Center, 261 Commerce Dr., Marion.
Those graduating with High School Equivalency Diplomas and Paraprofessional Certificates will be honored for their achievements at this ceremony, and will celebrate with friends and family at the reception immediately following.
Grant County Sheriff Del Garcia will be addressing the graduates and their guests.
Grant Regional Adult Education graduate Aaron Bradley will be sharing his story of success with his fellow graduates and their guests as well.
About Grant Regional Adult Education:
GRAE offers free classes to Grant County and the surrounding communities. We serve adults and youth (ages 16 and older) as they prepare for the High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) test. We also offer a Paraprofessional Certification Training, ASVAB Prep Classes, and English Language Learners classes. Grant Regional Adult Education’s programs are facilitated by Marion Community Schools through Grant Regional Career Center.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development has named the Grant County program an Adult Education Program of Excellence. This award designation was created by DWD to recognize adult education programs that exceed state goals and expectations in multiple areas of performance and serve as a model provider of adult education services in Indiana.
GRAE is located at 1240 S. Adams St., Marion. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are always accepting new students, and we work with students on an individual basis to set their class schedule and study plan.
