Paraprofessional prep at GRAE

Did you know that Grant Regional Adult Education offers paraprofessional training?

We help prepare people to make a big difference in the classroom! (Those pictured here have earned their ParaPro certification at GRAE!)

In this program, students learn the academic skills required to pass the ParaPro test, but also  the practical skills it takes to work in an actual classroom. Many of those who go through our training program work in local classrooms, and they often get a pay boost after their certification!

Become a highly qualified classroom paraprofessional in as little as three weeks. Contact GRAE for information about our paraprofessional training today!

Who we are

Grant Regional Adult Education provides classes for adults in our community for those needing a High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), along with several other post-secondary training opportunities.

These classes are FREE and open to people age 16 or older who are not currently enrolled in high school. (Students younger than 18 must complete an exit interview with the school they most recently attended.)

If you want to improve your math, reading, and writing skills, and complete your high school degree, this program might be a good fit for you. Perhaps you want to be able to help your children with their homework. Perhaps you're thinking about preparing for college yourself. Consider Grant Regional Adult Education, and the opportunities it could open up for you!

This free program is facilitated by Marion Community Schools through Grant Regional Career Center.
